Department of Business Management
Nestled in the sprawling,sylvan campus of the osmania university, the Department of Business Management has been conducting a two-year postgraduate programme in Business Management since 1964.It was established as an independent entity in 1971. It also offers 6 Post-Graduate Diplomas,MBA Management Technology Progress and has also entered into several MOUs to offer tailor-made programmes, Recognising that "Change" is the "Mantra" of today's corporate world, the Department keeps updating itself to adapt to ever-changing and ever increasing demand for managerial and entrepreneurial excellence. The Business Management dept shifted to a new independent building in 1988.
The department trains 60 students every year with the best of facilities and faculty, The Department prepares the students for creative risk-taking and moulds them into progressive leaders of the future.
The faculty comprises of intellectually stimulated academicians having vast experience that enables them to impart practical knowledge. They are in touch with the practicalities and intricacies of business and are constantly striving to transform the students into successful and progressive managers.
Believing in providing the Students with the best of facilities the department takes pride in an excellent library, a state-of-the-art computer laboratory, hostel facilities, and an auditorium with a capacity of 200 seats used for seminars, functions and cultural events. |
